Australian sculptor Shona Nunan currently lives in Tuscany in Italy. Nunan prefers to live in foreign countries, where she can immerse herself in local customs and continue to enrich her artistic vocabulary.
Nunan drives her inspiration in ancient civilizations, using the primal and most basic elements of human spirituality to express the mysterious and intimate connections between the human heart and life itself. Major works include the Guardian series (Yin and Yang, male and female); the Women series (the cycle of life); the Harvest series (abundance); and the Horse and Rider (the journey of life).
The longer you look at a work by Nunan, the more you feel the tranquility that it evokes in your mind. Anyone who feels a genuine desire to enhance their lifestyle through art will find these sculptures a thrilling opportunity to do so.
