Selected Lacquerware — Bertrand Pélissier

Bertrand Pélissier, a French architect involved in Disneyland Paris, was inspired by witnessing lacquerware craftsmanship during travels in Vietnam with his wife. His designs, blending Eastern aesthetics with Western ideas, quickly became popular in Paris.

Each piece is crafted with 7 to 12 layers of lacquer, polished over three months, resulting in elegant, durable works that are waterproof, heat-resistant, and acid-alkali resistant.
